Power Of Attorney
Drafting of documentation designed to appoint an attorney-in-fact to act on behalf of the individual unable to act on his or her own behalf due to various reasons. Such reason do not necessarily due to incapacity or medical reason but may be required when the individual is unable to personally attend to a certain transaction. A Durable Power of Attorney survives the individualís subsequent incompetency whereas a Power of Attorney that is not durable concerns a specific transaction such as signing of a deed, financial transaction (depositing checks, writing checks, withdrawals and the like).
